Introducing the SmartCode 10 Commercial grade lever. An ideal fit for projects demanding code or key access. Perfect for market segments such as hotels, motels, office buildings, retail stores, shopping centers, manufacturing facilities and multi-family housing. The SmartCode 10 features an auto lock function, simple programming and up to 30 user access codes that can be customized for sharing with employees, maintenance or service personnel. SmartCode is easy to install, program and use and operates on a 9V battery. It also features SmartKey® re-key technology as the back-up keyway. This entry lever can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish adds to the overall look of the product and brings a modern feel.

  • Interior turn piece can switch between ‘auto lock’ & ‘passage mode’. ‘Auto lock’ - always locks after entry, key / code required for re entry. ‘Passage mode’ – free entry without code / key.
  • Property managers can disable the passage function so that the unit auto locks every time - key or code always required for entry. Ideal for restrooms in restaurants/gas stations. SmartCode can be conveniently programed from the outside with a programming code.

I used this for the cottage, it was easy to install, modern & sleek design. This is perfect for air B&B, office and used for different members of the family where you can have many passcodes to be used & not need a key to get in Great for Seniors who maybe venerable that PSW, fire or emergency can enter the unit with a code instead of breaking the door down if they can't get in, saving money on not having damage to the unit.

The new doorknob I was sent was fairly easy for my husband to install. It is very easy to operate, ever for the kids. Not having to fumble for a key is great as it’s usually in the wrong pocket anyways. I will be changing all my exterior doorknobs over eventually.

Really sturdy lock with lots of options for user codes! It was also super easy to assemble and is super sleek! Battery is very accessible and easy to swap out (but protected since it's on the inside)

I love the sleek matte black color. Made my front door look great. Easy to install and love that I can use to code instead of keys ( even though it has keys) to get in. I find it safe for my nephew to be able to get into the house now after school.

Q: I need the set screw to secure the handle. It fell out and. I have looked inside the hole and it is not there. I tried the set screw on the opposite side of the shaft but for some reason it is not the same size?

A: Hi Bentley, The set screw is reverse threaded and difficult to fall out unless removed. The set screw can be accessed with a 3/32 Allen Wrench. Please try these steps to tighten the lever on: 1. Install the lever on the shaft with the door open. 2. Insert the key into the cylinder to unlock it. 3. Insert the 3/32 Allen wrench into the hole on the bottom of the lever, and rotate the Allen wrench clockwise to tighten the lever. Q: Can you prevent autolock from being disarmed on a smartcode lever, not refering to de. In shared space I always want autolock feature on with no possibility of tenant being able to turn off autolock feature. Defeats the purpose if tenant can turn it off.
