Aura Bluetooth Smart Lock is a keyless entry electronic deadbolt featuring SmartKey. Using the Weiser App within Bluetooth range, you can lock/unlock the Aura Smart Lock and program up to 250 user access codes that can be scheduled and customized. This single cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish adds to the overall look of the product and brings a modern feel.

Terrible bluetooth

I have two of these locks and they work well other than the bluetooth range is terrible. I need to be within a few feet and even if the app does happen to connect to the lock it often fails to actually lock or unlock. The bluetooth is only helpful to change codes and modify settings. Do not buy if you want to lock or unlock from your phone.

Loud and slow

I've had this for about 6 months and even though it's solid and we'll built, the Bluetooth connection is horrendous and the motor is ridiculously loud and slow.

Making my life easier.

We've owned this for a year and it is an excellent product. I purchased a second for the back door. This provides the freedom of going keyless and everyone having thier own code. Even the neighbour that takes care of the house is able to have a code without having a house key. The new app work great, I can see the history of the kids in and out during the day. If you already have a deadbolt in your door this is easy to install. Buying good batteries is key.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worse prduct and customer service

I have purchsed Weiser Lock with Blutooth from RONA in Brampton Ontario Canada, it,s not easy to install, so called my technician friend to install but after trying many times, he was not able to fix on door due to some part issue of lock, when I went to retun RONA store, they said to contact manufacturer, when I called Manufacturer, they said, they can only help once lock will be installed to door, but problem with part cannot be installed at door, so finally decided to garbage the lock and never ever buy Weiser Product.

Do not recommend

I have had this lock 17 months , of course just over the warranty and it drains the battery and only lasts a few days

Horrible lock doesnt function after 3 months got l

I bought this and 3 months later doesnt lock or unlock with bluetooth or code customer service phone not working they are too busy to answer calls at this time!!!! Horrible product never again will try to return to Homedepot asap!!! Just bad quality and design together!

Where's the app?

Just installed but I had quite a time getting it to work as the deadbolt was extremely sticky. Had to oil it a few times and work it back and forth until it went in and out smoothly. Because of this, the door handing process did not work the first two times. But the most frustrating part so far has been that the webpage does not exist to download the app. Both the QR code and the URL send me to pages that do not exist on the Weiserlock.com site. You should probably fix this if you would like to keep customers.

A: Hi Shnogginty, Weiser electronic locks are intended for installation on a door where the lock's interior is enclosed and protected from the outside elements. The keypad can face the exterior and withstand rain, sun, and snow. The full lock is not weatherproof and is not recommended to be installed on an outdoor with no covering.
