Yes, Contemporary will work with Alexa.

1. Open Alexa app
2. Select Skills, search for Kevo
3. Install Kevo Smart Home
4. Enable and link Kevo account to Alexa.
5. Select the name of the locks that you want to control with Alexa.
6. Entering a PIN will be required for unlocking.
7. Select “Discover Devices” for Alexa to perform.
8. Alexa will now be able to control Kevo using voice controls
   • Alexa, is the front door locked?
   • Alexa, is the front door unlocked?
   • Alexa, lock the front door.

Simply make the following asks to Alexa on your Alexa device:

Alexa, ask Kevo to list my locks.
Alexa, ask Kevo for the status of the front door.
Alexa, ask Kevo to lock my front door.
Alexa, ask Kevo to unlock my front door.

NOTE: Unlocking will require an additional PIN for security

1. Install Kevo Smart Lock - check that the Kevo app is able to lock/unlock using Bluetooth.
2. Install Kevo Plus – check that the Kevo app is able to “remotely” lock/unlock.
3. Set up your Amazon Echo, Echo Dot or other devices with Amazon Alexa.
4. Enable the Kevo skill in the Alexa app.
5. Within the Alexa app, link your Kevo Smart Lock account and give the skill permission to access your locks. In order to use the unlock functionality, you will need to establish an unlock pin.
6. Once your account is linked, you can use the Kevo Skill for Alexa on your Alexa enabled device.

Yes, Kevo Contemporary works with select Android 6.0 or higher devices. Please check our device compatibility list for the supported devices.

1. Go to your Kevo Application
2. Go to Preferences “Place Gear icon image here”
3. Select ‘Connect with Honeywell’ to link Kevo and Honeywell.

Yes.  If you would like to connect to Nest you can do the following:

1. Go to your Kevo Application
2. Select Preference in the upper left corner
3. Select ‘Connect with Nest’ to link Kevo and Nest.
